Supabase moves Logs to usage-based pricing
Supabase announced on September 25, 2026 that Logs will be billed on usage: the volume of log data ingested and the volume scanned by queries. Usage is already metered and shown in the dashboard, but limits are not enforced and billing starts after a grace period running into early 2027. Supabase says more than 90% of projects fall within the included limits.
Why it matters
Verbose Postgres logging settings that cost nothing today will show up on the bill. The projects most likely to be hit are the ones that turned on statement logging to debug something and never turned it off.
